Arrival to your Massage

Please arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.  This allows you time to fill out appropriate client forms, change, and prepare for the service.  All treatment sessions are scheduled at a certain time and arriving on time allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If you are late, your service will be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the full treatment session will be charged.

Cancelation

Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance.  Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged half price for the scheduled session. Emergencies are the exception upon approval of myself and will be handled on a case by case basis. When you miss an appointment with me, I not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

Payment

I accept cash, credit, debit, HSA and FSA. 

Informed Consent

At your first visit with me, you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the policies and procedures. Clients whom I have not seen for at least a year will be required to fill out this form again.

Client Needs and Boundaries

The client may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, or stop massage at any time.  The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped.  

Existing New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to inform the massage therapist of all medical conditions at the time of the session or any changes in health conditions since the clients last visit.  If you are presently under the care of a physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, or any licensed medical care practitioner, a written permission needs to be provided before the massage session will be done.

Inappropriate Behavior Policy

Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise toward me will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will also be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session and depending on your behavior, I may file a report with the local authorities if necessary.
